Screening and the Pizza Delivery Boy

I was recently discussing screening with another companion.

Fact is, you give the pizza delivery guy more information than you give any escort. Sure, you may give a Lady your employer or landline, but you also give the pizza delivery your home address, and usually your credit card number. The pizza delivery person also often sees your car, your kids if they come to the door… Usually, you meet an escort in a hotel and reveal none of this personal information.

Pizza delivery people make such low wages for grueling work that it’s a job that even I didn’t want to have in undergrad. They work for a company, which they probably don’t have a lot of interest vested in. Earnings potential in a pizza company has a pretty low ceiling. Trust me, escorting is much more financially lucrative than going into the pizza delivery business.

There are no consumer-accessible blacklists for bad pizza delivery employees. No back-channel communications, that you can actually trust the person on the phone you’re giving your home address and personal-identity information to.

Legitimate escorts have much more at stake besides their “business reputation”. The pizza delivery person doesn’t come into your home to model lingerie. Escorts do, alone. Pizza delivery people are usually male, and probably as strong as you. Escorts are usually female, and not so physically strong as the men they entertain in private. I have also yet to hear of any criminals who target pizza delivery people.

As private female entertainers, our very lives are at stake by the whole nature of escorting. By asking for information such as your real name, social media presences, employer…. We provide ourselves some small protection against those who would seek to hurt us.

The person on the phone at a pizza company…. Do you know how AAAA Company selects its employees? How sure are you against theft?

Word about bad escorts gets around pretty quickly. Unlike pizza delivery employees, it’s relatively easy to check if an individual lady is legit and ethical (the upside of review sites like TER, and the many message boards).

Assuming that patrons have done their “due diligence” in researching the most compatible, legitimate, companion… why do they still not provide half as much information as they would unhesitatingly give to the pizza delivery employee?

PS: This is not counting that often employer and other personal information can avoid being given at all, if you supply references from other escorts you’ve previously spent time with and/or if you join a reputable and widely accepted screening service such as Preferred411, Date-Check, or RoomService2000.

    Rachael,

I understand your message and completely agree with it, however….lol. The pizza delivery guy/person taking the call analogy just doesn’t work for me. There are some safequards in place to protect consumers from identy theft from that caller taking the CC numbers and using them for their own benefit. I have been trying to come up with a better example and cannot, so I guess I cannot really say anything about the choice then, can I…lol.

From reading your pages, I think your a bit of the acception to the rule. After you do your due diligence and screen your clients, you reveal a bit about your personal life on your dates. That is unique and I think “levels the playing field” in the trust department. That really places you into a catagory all to yourself in this market place. I have read thread this on the “local” site and wished to place my response their, but I am trying to be more UTR….emphasis on trying.

I saw where a comment was made in reference to the “blackmailing of clients”. Sadly this has happened more times than I would have thought. Is the Hobbiest at fault? Maybe somewhat. The problem that certain sites have is that the Providers can have stellar reps to the general populace and behind the sceens, the senior members know differently about the girl. The guys will not say anything for fear of reprisal and so forth. I have been pretty protective of my personal life. I made my fair share of mistakes in the begining as we all do. However I have learned to….for a lack of a better term, places ladies in “tiers”. I have no issues giving that information out to what I like to call “tier 1″ ladies. However when we get to the second level…I lean mreo towards using my P411 membership.

I have really come to respect and admire your view points on many topics. You bring a new perspective to many things both hobby related and not. I will continue to enjoy your view points and look forward to the next one.

    Thanks Again,

    • Thank you for the compliments and comment :-)

Ya, sadly, I’ve heard of unethical ladies ruining things, and there do seem to be tiers as far as how women operate within this world (I guess just like any other vocation within a free-market economy, and occasionally you might pay for a gourmet pizza and get the fake cheese and pre-made crust instead).

P411 is awesome and the most user friendly. Date-check is also good, but slightly more confusing interface, although I think Date-check screens ladies more thoroughly (I get the feeling that P411 screens patrons more thoroughly). I have heard of fake okays being given, but suspect that this is relatively rare (and it depends on the lady- I don’t accept references or “okays” from some women, eventhough I know they’re legit).

    Rachael:

While the post is a good read, I agree with Elhombre on the comparison.

It’s true we often freely give a pizza delivery chain more personal information, such as the credit card example, but it’s because there’s potential accountability against the company should theft in the form of unauthorized use occur.

Still, I see the point you’re making and it’s a good one. People in general are required to provide personal information in all forms of business. But I think today’s age of the Internet, which makes it very easy to find most anything on someone, makes us very guarded depending on the solicited information.

Conversely, I believe a proven and reputable woman is more than within her rights to ask for information for safeguard purposes. It makes perfect sense and I’m actually disappointed if a woman immediately agrees to see me without even asking for basic information. That puts me on the defensive and makes me rethink if I want to spend time with her.

There’s a fine balance with offered and shared information. It comes with the territory and everyone should expect it.

Ultimately, it is truly up to the woman to decide if she’s willing to see a hobbyist who is unwilling to offer what is needed.

And if a hobbyist chooses not to provide the requested information, he shouldn’t be disappointed if the answer is no.

Oh, before I forget. I complimented the care you gave to your Website in a private e-mail, but I’ll say it here in the open; what a fantastic site :-)
